Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.
Janeen is a person who is always smiling, has a great attitude and treats everyone with respect. She is super funny and always does her best. You can find her volunteering her time at sports tournaments. Janeen is on the honour roll with distinction, gets all her homework done on time, helps others with their work and won the math award last year. In school, she plays volleyball, where she was rookie of the year, basketball, badminton and is in French immersion, band and pit band for the musical. She won athlete of the month for March. Janeen is a role model for never giving up. She never stops trying for her best and is super committed. Janeen is always cheering everyone on. Janeen attends St. Gerard’s regularly where she is an alter server, volunteers with the Fall supper and she is super faithful.
Evan is willing to help others with their homework and anything else someone might need a hand with. He includes everyone and tells great math jokes. Evan tries his best in every class and is in AP calculus and French immersion. In school Evan is on the cross country and track teams, is in Channel 22, band, choir, jazz band, musical and drama. He is on the SRC. Evan is going on a mission trip to Panama with the Seventh Day Adventist church.
