Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.
Hanna is a kind, courteous and polite person. She never puts down or discourages others and welcomes them to sit down with her for lunch. Hanna has very good attendance, is never late for class, always gets her work done on time, is in AP English and is on the honour roll. You can find Hanna involved in volleyball, basketball, badminton, track, musical and drama. She has volunteered at the Soup Haven Supper and is a great babysitter for teachers. Hanna is a great role model for others with a well-rounded and multi-talented personality. Hanna attends St. Gerard's parish with her family weekly.
Robert can be friends with anyone and will give everyone the utmost respect. He helps his classmates with homework, is a retreat leader and has great leadership qualities. Robert is a friendly, comical, sincere, and polite individual. Robert works to his best potential and puts great effort into his work. He is very opinionated and stands up for his beliefs. Robert's involvement includes: soccer (as captain), football (and a great field goal kicker), basketball, club soccer, coaching community soccer, retreat leader and he works at Harvest Meats. Robert shows tremendous skills in all his sports and he is a positive influence on others to live a healthy, active lifestyle. He is a greeter for masses and picks up mass programs. Robert attends the Alliance church with his family on Sundays.
