Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement. The September male student of the month was Louis Shin.
Louis is always kind and tries his hardest in everything he does. He is always willing to help out students in need. Louis is always trying his best, even if he does not understand and he makes sure to ask for help when he needs it. You can find Louis involved in soccer, volleyball, band, French immersion and AP math. He makes more friends and includes them in the activities he is in and suggests that other students try and do new things. Louis leads by encouraging others to try these new things and is always trying his hardest to make sure everyone is involved. He is always helping his family at work and puts in a lot of time helping others. When he has spare time he reads his Korean bible.
