The Yorkton Film Festival is again pleased to partner with Telefilm Canada, SODEC Quebec, and the National Film Board to celebrate The Shortest Day of Film. The Shortest Day of Film is a celebration of short films with screenings being held across the country from December 18 – 21.
“A huge part of our mandate is highlighting short Canadian films, so we’re very pleased to be working with our partners to present this program again this year.” Said Yorkton Film Festival Executive Director Randy Goulden.
“This year, we’ve reached into the festival’s back catalog to grab two short holiday themed family films.” Goulden added.
YFF will be hosting a screening of the films Naughty to Nice and North Pole News 2: Here We Snow Again on Saturday, December 19th at the Yorkton Public Library at 2:00pm. The event is open to the public and is completely free of charge.
