A small group of about a dozen people were protesting the wearing of masks during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Carrying signs with slogans such ‘let me breathe’, ‘freedom to choose’ and ‘no mandatory masks’, the group gathered on the grassed area in the southeast area of the Real Canadian Store, at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The group would later make their way to the Walmart parking lot where they walked through the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Show & Shine.
