Yorkton Regional High School student Kenton Doupe created 100 Portraits of people in his life. Starting with profile pictures taken from Facebook pages.

Sam Derkatch is an emerging artist who calls his work "hillbilly photography." Exploring the lost and abandoned places in our rural environment.

The Yorkton Arts Council's "Stars For Saskatchewan" presents Inti-Illimani - Fri., April 27, 2012. 8 p.m. at the Anne Portnuff Theatre. This Chilean group is entrenched in traditional Latin American roots and plays more than 30 wind, string and percussion instruments. Inti-Illimani's compositions are a treasure for the human Spirit.

The Yorkton Film Festival is now looking for volunteers for the upcoming 2012 festival season. Celebrating 65 years of film, the festival owes much of its history to its incredible volunteers. Each year we are looking for dedicated and friendly individuals to help with the tasks of driving shuttle vans; assisting with the mini-cinema and screenings; working at our social events, including LobsterFest and the GSA Gala; and taking part in the setup and teardown of the festival. Yorkton Relay for Life 2012 at Century Field June 22 - 7:00 p.m. to June 23 - 7:00 a.m. This unique and inspiring event involves teams of 12 to 15 who participate in a 12-hour, overnight non-competitive relay.
