Stabbing on First Nation

During the early morning hours of March 3, Kamsack RCMP along with Duck Mountain Ambulance were called to a residence on the Keeseekoose First Nation for a male suffering from stab wounds.

During the early morning hours of March 3, Kamsack RCMP along with Duck Mountain Ambulance were called to a residence on the Keeseekoose First Nation for a male suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to Kamsack Hospital with serious injuries. Investigation of this incident resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old resident of the Keeseekoose First Nation.

Quinton Roy Quewezance has been charged with aggravated assault and has been remanded in custody. He was scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on Monday, March 5.
