The 60th annual Threshermen’s Show and Senior’s Festival was held at the Western Development Museum Aug. 1 and 2. Featured attractions included the 60th anniversary exhibit, antique tractor and car show, hobby and handicraft tent, plowing demonstrations, clay oven bread baking, gas threshing, flour grinding, blacksmithing and square dancing by the Park Swingers. Providing hands on experience, the show allows younger generations to learn the old ways of harvest, pass on the skills and, in turn, have a deeper appreciation for Saskatchewan’s beginnings.
