"This is a good opportunity for kids to see the museum gallery and have a bit of fun while they're here," says Carla Madsen, education and special events programmer for the museum.

In addition to the special events of the day, children also enjoyed spending time in Time Square where, unlike other areas in the museum, children are invited to play hands-on with items in the room.

Yorkton's Western Development Museum is open daily from 9:00 to 5:00 and is located on Highway 16A West.
