The ice of the Farrell Agencies Arena ended up nearly covered in Teddy Bears and assorted other plush critters, all thrown onto the ice after the Terriers scored their first goal Saturday night against Notre Dame. The event was the First Teddy Bear Toss hosted by the local Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League team. The Teddy Bears were to be donated to the Salvation Army's Christmas Cheer Program. The Terriers were aided in collecting the bears by members of the Yorkton Thorsness Terriers, a Novice Division team in the city. The Terriers did win the game as well by an 8-5 score (see related story in the Sports Section.)
