Hundreds of school students from throughout the region attended the Grain Millers Harvest Showdown in Yorkton last week. The tours, provided through the sponsorship of Mosaic, was an opportunity to learn about agriculture via a number of information stations including ones dedicated to the uses of food grains and oilseeds, as well as those with live animals such as pigs, goats, sheep and cattle.
