The suspicious death of a 41-year-old man in Melville was likely not murder, according to the RCMP.
The deceased Melville man was found in his home, which has been blocked off by police since Tuesday morning.
"We've had a suspicious death that we're investigating at this time, but I think it's safe to say we've ruled out foul play," said Staff Sergeant Ewen Booth of the Melville/Ituna RCMP Detachment.
"Because there's no obvious cause of death that jumps out at us, we have to hold onto the scene until after the pathologist does his report, and that's not going to be done until Thursday."
A police presence will remain at the site until then. No further details on the incident had been released by press time.
"It looks like a crime scene because that's the way we have to treat it," said Booth.
