Members of the Yorkton Terriers Junior 'A' hockey team will be making an appearance at Yorkton's MC Knoll Elementary School tomorrow morning (Thursday), says Mark Schendel, sports representative for the school.
Schendel said the hockey players will be on-hand to support an initiative which the school has been supporting for a number of years.
They are promoting making the right choices in school and in life. The Terriers are expected around 11 a.m., and will also be available for a photo session with the students.
Students in each age group are presented with prizes throughout the morning recognizing individual efforts.
Each year, MC Knoll acquires permission for the players appearances. Last year, they had members of the AAA Midget Yorkton Harvest.
