The Godfrey Dean Art Gallery presents Primal Nature, an exhibition of paintings by Jeanette Marshall. Originally from a farm near Russell, MB and now living in Windsor, Jeanette returns to the family home each year and paints the evocative qualities of earth, air, wind and water that shape her spirit. Brain injury is the number ONE cause of death and disability among children and youth. Each year, 2200 brain injuries occur in the province. To raise awareness of this preventable epidemic, the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association (SBIA) will hold the 9th Annual Positive Steps Walk-a-thon to be held on Sept. 10. It will also raise funds to enhance the quality of life for those living with an acquired brain injury and their families.
