The heritage craft of quilting is alive and well as witnessed by all the fine examples on display at the 'From Pieces to Masterpieces Quilt Show' held at St. Mary's Parish Hall in Yorkton on the weekend.

The two-day event featured entries from throughout the local area, as well as from as far a field as Moose Jaw, Englefield and Elkhorn, MB.

In addition to the dozens of quilts on display a number of vendors had displays, and demonstrations related to the craft were held through the event. The show was organized by the local York Colony Quilter's Guild.
