This photo from the Howard Jackson Collection dates back to 1928 when Yorkton became a city. It advertised itself as the "Youngest City of Saskatchewan". We see here the silhouette of the bell tower of the City Hall, which was then located at #30 Third Avenue North (where the Painted Hand Casino was) and the tower of St. Andrew's United Church.
