Threat charges laid

On Friday, April 29, members of the Esterhazy and Kamsack Detachments began an investigation in regards to uttering threats and breach of a probation order. The investigation led to the arrest of a Wroxton area resident.

On Friday, April 29, members of the Esterhazy and Kamsack Detachments began an investigation in regards to uttering threats and breach of a probation order.

The investigation led to the arrest of a Wroxton area resident. The arrest was made without incident during a traffic stop on May 3 at approximately 10:00 am.
William Diduck, aged 46, is charged with uttering threats and breach of a probation order.


Subsequent to the arrest, a search was conducted on Diduck's residence and adjacent outbuildings which is located approximately two km west of Wroxton on Highway 10. Supporting the search were members of the Esterhazy and Kamsack Detachments as well as the following support units: The "F" Division Southern Enforcement Response Team, Yorkton GIS, and the "F" Division Explosive Disposal Unit. As a result of the search, 3 firearms (one shotgun and two rifles) were seized from the residence.
