A 50-year-old Yorkton man has been sentenced to time-served after being found guilty of causing a disturbance and breach of conditions.

Michael Winter faced trial July 21 on those charges plus assaulting a police officer, possession of a weapon and obstruction following an incident and the municipal detachment of the RCMP in early May.

He was found not guilty on the assault, weapon and obstruction charges.

He received a $300 fine for the causing a disturbance charge and nine days time-served for the time he spent on remand following the incident.

The breach charges stem from release conditions on a marijuana trafficking conviction.
