"A Fading Light: 25 Years of Photography at SIAST" Jan. 10 to Feb. 12, 2012. 25 Saskatchewan photographers commemorate the SIAST program with portraiture, documentary, commercial and fine art work. The program was closed in 2011.

"Words & Wanderlust" On now through February, Regina artist Louise Tessier combines heart felt travel photography with poetic quotes.

The Brayden Ottenbreit Memorial Book Fund, generously supported and annually funded by the Kinsmen Club of Yorkton, is currently accepting applications for the provision of books or other items to any school, group or organization in need of materials to promote and encourage literacy. Interested parties are encouraged to submit a 500-word essay to [email protected] during the month of February, stating their need and items they wish to receive through this funding.

Assiniboine Food Security Alliance is hosting the 2nd Annual Prairie Sun Seed Festival on Sat., Feb. 25 from 1 to 4:40 p.m. at Dr. Brass School Gymnasium. Admission is a non-perishable food or donation to local food banks. This celebration of the diversity of seed and the culture of growing food locally features exhibits, displays by local food producers, seed sellers, gardening and seed workshops, food preservation demonstrations and a seed exchange. Our next event will be a Ski Safari held on Family Day, Mon., Feb. 20 @ 1 p.m. at Deer Park. We'll be hunting for hidden stuffed animals along the route and marking their location on our Safari Map. Wear Safari clothes over your ski outfit, if you would like. The person or persons spotting the most animals will be crowned Safari King or Queen.
