Two people from Yorkton are dead after a car crash in town last Saturday.
An 18-year-old female and a 21-year-old male were involved in a single-vehicle collision on May 5. The victims’ names have not been released at this time. They were both from Yorkton.
Around 8:49 p.m. on May 5, Yorkton Municipal RCMP were alerted to the accident, which occured on the small bridge at the end of Darlington Street East. The two occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is conducting an investigation into the accident.
The RCMP thanked the Fire Department, Ballie’s Towing, Crestview Ambulance, Parkland Victim Services, and other first responders for their assistance with the collision.
