Chad Hallock, CEO of Budget Blinds, is set to appear on the CBS hit show Undercover Boss on Friday, April 13th. The hit show will follow Hallock as he trades in board meetings for a Budget Blinds polo and goes door to door helping customers, consulting, and installing blinds.
"When I was approached with the opportunity, I took it without hesitation," Hallock said. "To be able to work with the franchisees that have made this company a success was something I could not pass up - even though I knew it would be challenging since I haven't taken part in an in-home consultation or installed blinds in quite some time!"
Brent Hallock, Chad's brother and co-founder, believes the opportunity to be on Undercover Boss is a great learning opportunity for the company. Budget Blinds is constantly looking for new ways to improve their customer service and internal operations, the show will provide the insight needed to make necessary changes, if any.
Chad and Brent co-founded the company in 1992 with $5000 down and three friends to help. Today, Budget Blinds is the largest window furnishing franchise in North America, helping home owners with everything from drapes to shutters.
The multi-billion dollar window industry is expected to grow by 6% in the comings years.
