This year new students to the University of Saskatchewan are encouraged to join a Learning Community in the first term (September - December) of their first year. A Learning Community is a small group of first-year students who sign-up for a common set of either two or three of their courses together and meet once a week with successful upper-year students to make the connection between their studies and their world.

Students can choose among sets of courses that fit with their interests, program goals, or the distribution requirements for their degree. Creating a sense of community at the U of S is all about making connections - between people with common interests and goals, between different areas of study, and between the communities we care about. These connections form the foundation for an enriching University experience that supports new students throughout their entire degree.
All U of S students interested students must sign-up for a Learning Community before JUNE 16th.
