Touring to celebrate their 15th anniversary, Theory of a Deadman brought its “unplugged” show to Painted Hand Casino January 29. The British Columbia-based hard rockers have produced five albums, all of which were featured in the show. The band won the Juno Award for New Group of the Year in 2003 and was nominated in 2006 as Group of the Year and for Rock Album of the Year for “Gasoline.” They won the Western Canadian Music Award for Rock Recording of the Year in 2009 for “Scars and Souvenirs” and were twice nominated for Outstanding Rock Recording for “Gasoline (2005)” and “Theory of a Deadman” (2003). They have now completed the Canadian portion of the tour and are headed to Europe for dates in France, Russia and the UK.
