The Western Development Museum has just released its statistics for the volunteer hours that have been donated by its very dedicated volunteer core in 2014. 54,737 hours of volunteer service were donated to the WDM locations in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon, Yorkton as well as the Curatorial Centre.

Volunteers are an integral work force that helps deliver programs to Museum visitors... everything from vintage aircraft restoration, quilting, telegraphing, rope making, providing guided tours, operating steam traction engines and so much more. These dedicated individuals bring the Museum to life with their energy, years of experience and stories.

WDM volunteers range in age from 16 to 95 years of age, Hats off to their incredible commitment to the WDM.

Also the four Museum locations in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon and Yorkton are now open on Mondays. The winter season has ended and with the arrival of spring and the month of April, we are pleased to announce that the Museums will now be open seven days a week.

Moose Jaw, North Battleford and Saskatoon are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Yorkton location is open Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
