Winter construction

Greg Martin, Ben Calvert and Rebecca Derbowka of Roby Sharpe's phys ed class took part in building a Quinzhee on Friday afternoon. A Quinzhee is a shelter anyone can build for winter camping and use in a survival situation. Quinzhee is an Inuit word meaning 'snow dome'. It resembles an igloo but is constructed differently. They are said to be warm enough inside to stay warm regardless how cold it is outside.
