Habitat for Humanity volunteers were in action on the weekend building a home for the city's second Habitat family. Construction supervisor Merv Catchuk anticipates a late January finish for the home on Elizabeth Avenue.


Catchuk and his volunteers began the project in mid-July with the demolition of an abandoned house on the site. A salvaged house purchased from the city and moved to Dunlop Street is also on the go.
