Yorkton business people will have a formal opportunity to put Yorkton’s current mayor and council on the hot seat leading up to this fall’s election.
The Yorkton Business Improvement District is sponsoring a series of four meetings, August 23 and 30 and September 8 and 15.
The sessions are scheduled at a variety of times and in different parts of the city to allow flexibility for busy business owners.
Details are as follows: August 23, 10 a.m. at Painted Hand Casino. August 30, 2 p.m. at Boston Pizza. September 8, 7 p.m. at West Broadway Grill. September 15, 2 p.m. at Yorkton Public Library.
“Our hope is it will allow your business the opportunity to gain answers to questions about our city and its future,” a YBID press release stated.
