The Children's Wish Foundation is proud to present the 4th Annual Wishmaker Walk for Wishes in Yorkton! We are searching for individuals, small businesses, community groups or a group of friends interested in walking in or volunteering for the event on Oct. 13, 2012 in Yorkton. Over the past three years this walk has raised over $65,000 which goes to help grant amazing wishes to children diagnosed with a life threatening illness. The Yorkton Community Bands under the direction of Larry Pearen are ready to begin their new 2012-13 season. The first rehearsal will commence on Tues., Sept. 18 at Yorkton Regional High School Band Room at 7 p.m.
Yorkton's All That Jazz, a twenty piece big band will also begin its new season as well. Featuring two vocalists, Jackie Washenfelder and Rob Zerr.
