In just two years, the Yorkton Festival of Cultures has become a must-see event.
Classrooms at Sacred Heart High School were transformed November 17 into pavilions showcasing the arts, traditions and foods of the ever growing multicultural landscape of the city.
The event easily surpassed its goal of attracting 800 to 900 people.
"It tells the community is so welcoming and they accept diversity," said Edith Montesclaros, festival organizer.
