Yorkton Municipal RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.
Senacca Reyes was last seen in Yorkton on February 29, 2012 at the Yorkton Regional High School. Reyes is 15 years old and described as approximately five feet two inches tall and 100 pounds. She has black shoulder length hair and brown eyes. A photograph of Reyes is attached.
Yorkton Municipal RCMP have received information that Reyes could be in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reyes is asked to contact the Yorkton City RCMP at 786-2400, Regina Police Service, or your local Crime Stoppers.
Early on the morning of March 12 at around 7:45 am, members of the Punnichy RCMP were called to a grid road 3 km south of the Daystar First Nation just off the 640 Grid.
A 1998 black GMC truck was reported to have rolled into the ditch. When RCMP members and EMS arrived on scene, they discovered that a 28-year-old male was deceased.
At this time the rollover is still under investigation and members are trying to determine the exact cause and number of occupants that had been in the truck when the accident occurred.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a forensic examiner from the RCMP Yorkton Forensic Identification section were at the scene to gather evidence.

In the late evening on Friday, March 9, 2012, the Yorkton Municipal RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Yorkton in relation to an investigation involving trafficking marijuana. Inside, the RCMP seized a large amount of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia and prohibited weapons. Two arrests have been made, one being a young offender and the other being 20-year-old Branden Villeneuve.
Villeneuve is facing the following charges:
1. Trafficking Marijuana
2. Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
3. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
4. Two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
5. Possession of a Prohibited Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to the Public.
The young offender was also charged with Trafficking and Possession for the purpose of Trafficking. The young offender has since been released from police custody with a later court date. Villeneuve was held to make his first appearance in Yorkton court on Monday, March 12.
On March 6 at 8:00 am, the Canora RCMP responded with Canora Fire Department to a fire which occurred at the Durafibre plant near Mikado, Saskatchewan. The building suffered significant damage, but no injuries resulted from the blaze. Cause of the fire has yet to be determined but it does not appear suspicious at this time.
On March 6 at 11:15 am, Canora RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision at the Canora Junior Elementary School in Canora, Saskatchewan. The vehicle backed into a fire hydrant, causing damage to the hydrant and causing the surrounding area to flood. The male driver of the vehicle left the scene on foot. The collision is still under investigation by the Canora RCMP. It has not yet been determined if charges will be laid.
