Yorkton RCMP apprehended a prisoner who escaped custody over the weekend.
On Nov. 19, Yorkton Rural RCMP escorted Kevin Poullett (33) to the Regional Health Centre after he requested medical attention. Around 5:45 p.m., Poullett escaped through the rear of the building and ran towards Queen Street. He was still handcuffed.
Poullett was discovered in a Yorkton home on Tuesday morning. He was promptly arrested.
Poullett was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20. He is charged with breaking and entering, possession of stolen property, and failure to comply with a condition of recognizance.
