Yorkton Community Adult Band Begins New Season! The Yorkton Community Concert Band under the direction of Larry Pearen is looking for musicians to join them for their new season beginning Tues., Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. Rehearsals take place at Yorkton Regional High School - Band Room. The concert band is open to any individuals who are able to play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument. The adult band program which began in 1991 has attracted both young and old to its membership. Following concert band rehearsals, individuals are also welcome to attend the Yorkton Big Band rehearsals which includes many of the same members but a different style of music.
