The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Female Student of the Month for June is Rebecca Kriger. Rebecca is a grade twelve student at the YRHS. She has been a member of the SRC since her grade ten year, being the Female President this year. Rebecca has also played an important role as a member of the Sr. Girl's basketball team. Rebecca played volleyball in grade nine and ten and has also been a part of the Music Program. Rebecca will be attending the University of Regina in the fall. She would like to thank the staff and students at the YRHS for making her high school experience unforgettable. Congratulations Rebecca!
The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Male Student of the Month for June is Cordell Young. Cordell is the sheep guy who claims to be the SRC Male President at the YRHS. While maintaining a 90%+ average throughout high school, he also completed his Associate Certificate in Piano Performance with the Canadian National Conservatory of Music. He has also kept sheep for the past 8 years and currently shepherds 140 ewes with 190 lambs. When Cordell has free time, which is seldom, he would enjoy sky diving and field driving cars, but most of all he would love to get back to shearing sheep. He has really enjoyed the past five years at the YRHS but will be moving into the University of Saskatchewan to study Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.
