The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Female Student of the Month for October is Brittany Brenzen. Brittany is a grade 12 student with an 80 percent average. She is involved with band, the senior Lady Raiders volleyball team and she looks forward to the upcoming basketball and badminton seasons. Outside of school activities Brittany visits at the care home and plays Team Sask Baseball. Recently Brittany was invited to play baseball for Team Canada in the women's national tournament in Havana, Cuba. She also was selected to take photos for an article of an Australian based magazine. Brittany is also the Female Athletic Director on this year's SRC. Congratulations Brittany!
The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Male Student of the Month for October is Jake Prybylski. Jake is a grade 12 student and has a 75 percent average. Jake is a member of the Senior Raider football team. Unfortunately, because of injury, Jake was only able to play two and a half games this season but was still a key member of the team by his enthusiasm and leadership on the side lines. Outside of school Jake plays on a Christian recreation hockey team, he also attends youth events with the Baptist Church in Springside. Last summer Jake travelled to California for a Christian youth rally with participants from all over North America with an objective to spread the love of Christ. Jake also works part time at a construction site before and after school. Jake is an active student at the YRHS. Congratulations Jake!
