ZORRA-Antony home after Berlin visit

It was nice to see Melissa Antony home from Berlin. She arrived in Calgary where she visited with her aunt Linda and Dwayne Maser and family. She then went on to Jasper where her brother Ryan is working.

It was nice to see Melissa Antony home from Berlin. She arrived in Calgary where she visited with her aunt Linda and Dwayne Maser and family. She then went on to Jasper where her brother Ryan is working. Together, with her friend Sabastian and Ryan, they went to Vancouver for a two week holiday. From there, Melissa and Sabastian went to Saskatoon to visit with her sister Jenalene Antony. Her cousin Anthony Louttit, who is taking a plumbing course in Saskatoon, took them to Regina on the way home for the weekend. Melissa's aunt Barbara Louttit then drove her and Sabastian home to the farm.

The rest of the family, Sherryl and Terry Kohanski from Churchbridge and Nickolas Antony from Dunleath came out to visit with Melissa and Sabastian. The five weeks she was out went by very quickly, then it was back to Berlin where she is attending university.

At the whist drive held in Zorra, the winners were: 1st high Norman Wozney, 2nd Randy Balabuck, 3rd Arnold Balabuck and low went to David Korb. Pot of gold 1st and 2nd went to Norman Wozney and 3rd Ella Becker.

Toby Becker from Saskatoon was out to visit with Brian, Jeanette Becker and Ella. On his way back home to Saskatoon, he took Elsie Kryworuchka to visit with her daughter, Beverly Becker and her grandsons Clinton and Clayton and families.

At the last whist drive held in Zorra, winners were: 1st high David Korb, 2nd Elmer Eftoda, 3rd Jack Miller and low went to Anna Fyck. Pot of Gold winners were 1st Peter Werischuk, 2nd Randy Balabuck, 3rd Lil Wozney.

Toby, Tanya Becker and family and Meachala Becker all from Saskatoon came out to be with the family, Brian and Jeanette Becker, Ella Becker, Bonnie and Gerry Hrynkiw, Dean and Louise Becker, Jason Becker and Art Ludwig. They all went to the Killman resort for the celebration of Sarah's Birthday.

Erma Geitz from Winnipeg passed away. She was the daughter of Mr. Kitch. They lived in the Zorra area, then moved to Winnipeg in 1957. Ten years ago, she suffered a stroke. She passed away in the Deere Lodge Hospital where she has been for the past ten years.

The most talked about thing right now is the water. Yes, we had to drive across water on our road but it went down quickly. We have one more run coming from the north. It hasn't come yet and if it doesn't come we won't miss it.
