Yorkton Detachment were on scene of a serious collision located near the intersection of Hwy #9 and Queen Street. The south bound lane of Hwy #9 was blocked while the investigation is completed.

The skies might be darkest in December, but the streets of Yorkton will light up.

The Yorkton Citizens on Patrol Program is looking for an infusion of new volunteers. Started in the mid-1980s, the program is one that benefits the entire community, said COP chairperson Cliff Trombley.

The latest show at the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery is Passages. A collaboration between glass artist Louisa Ferguson and ceramic artist Paula Cooley, the new show mixes their two disciplines with a new one for both, metal.
