Baker Tilly and Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer partnered Friday in holding a fundraising BBQ.

Key Yorkton Kia hosted a barbecue Friday in support of youth bowling in the city. The event, visited by a friendly bowling pin mascot, was held over lunch raising both funds for the group, and awareness of youth bowling in the city.

It was a chance to get up close to some really big horses as the Saskatchewan Clydesdale Association held a hotdog sale in Yorkton Friday.

Last night at approximately 8:00 p.m., Yorkton RCMP, Fire and EMS were called to a collision on Highway 16 near Springside, SK, that involved a semi-truck and an SUV.

At just [before 9 p.m., Yorkton RCMP advised that highway #16, 8 km West of Springside, Sask was closed. Motorist are encouraged to utilize an alternate highway around this location. Highways #10 and #47 at Yorkton may be the best routes.
