The Yorkton Family Resource Centre wants the city’s families to be safe this summer, and held a safety day to give families the tools they need to stay safe. The day included information, games and a car seat clinic.

A man who drove a bulldozer into a house in the Calder area will be in prison for the next four years. Ronald Fatteicher, 60, pleaded guilty to attempted murder after driving a bulldozer into the home of his daughter-in-law in July of 2017.

A warehouse on Smith Street was destroyed by fire on the evening of Jun. 21. A call came in to Yorkton Fire Protective Services at approximately 8:00 p.m., said Fire Chief Trevor Morrissey. The fire had started in the north end of the building.

The Health Foundation is pleased to announce that Rubicon Pharmacies has made a significant donation of $10,000 in support of the residents in our long-term care homes throughout east central Saskatchewan.
