A 37-year-old Yorkton woman has received a conditional discharge with 12 months probation related to an assault at a local nightclub last fall. Kendra Potzus pleaded guilty to one count of common assault on Monday in provincial court.

In the early 1970s it became mandatory for manufacturers to install seat belts in all cars. During the next two decades, provinces made wearing them mandatory as well. Saskatchewan was one of the first on July 1, 1977.
