City not liking RM subdivision plan

Yorkton Council has some concerns about a proposed subdivision within the Rural Municipality of Orkney, and they voted unanimously to pass those concerns onto the Ministry of Government Services.

School board chair loses seat

Ray Sass, the current chair of Good Spirit School Division, was not re-elected in the October 24 election. Sass, a regional manager for SARCAN, has been a trustee with the school board for 10 years, eight of which he served as chair.
