Yorkton school year increases by 20 hours

Yorkton's school divisions did not wait for the Province's announcement last week it was standardizing the school year to start planning.

Traffic blitz results in 168 charges

Saskatchewan law enforcement agencies handed out 168 tickets to motorists in their monthly traffic blitz dubbed Operation Hang Up, Buckle Up for January. The January 17 and 18 focussed on non-seatbelt use and distracted driving.
