After Sophia Hvidston, 4, had led such a wonderful “pay it forward” project to bring more toys and joy to Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon, that a group of Canora quilters decided that they wanted to do something special for Sophia.

The Canora Quilting Group, which calls itself A Common Thread, made a special quilt just for Sophia and presented it on Friday. Sophia and her mother, Shanna, were overwhelmed by the kind gesture.  Sophia said she will take the quilt with her when she goes back to the Cancer Centre and the Ronald McDonald House.
