The Assiniboine Beef and Multi 4-H Club hosted its achievement day on June 18. The day featured the achievements of club members and their animal project. It was hosted at the farm of Nathan and Megan Maier of Preeceville.
Club members showcased goats and calf projects with Kelly Panasiuk judging them.
In goat category, Sydney Koloski placed first, Dawsen Volpatti placed second and
Kendra Hueser placed third.
In the beef category, Isaiah Maier placed first in the steer category. Sam Volpatti placed first in the cow-calf pair category.
“All of our young 4-h members’ hard work paid off this year and they showed it in the show ring with great pride," said Billie-Joe Townsend, leader. "We were pleased to have the achievement day at the Maier farm.
“We are very proud of our little club’s improvement this far,” she said.
Pre-club members were Sawyer Townsend, Ross Townsend, Liam Townsend, Dawsen Volpatti, Kendra Hueser and Haley Hueser.
Cloverbud members were Sam Volpatti and Sydney Koloski.
Isaiah Maier was the only junior member.
Leaders for the club include Dani Volpatti, Billiejoe Townsend and Fallyn Oxley.
