Ag Days Car Show attracts wide variety of vehicles from different eras

The Cruisers Car Club show and shine on August 20 welcomed 41 vehicles and motorcycles. Eugene Keyowski once again created the one-of-a-kind trophies out of salvaged car parts for the winners.

            The Cruisers Car Club show and shine on August 20 welcomed 41 vehicles and motorcycles.

            Eugene Keyowski once again created the one-of-a-kind trophies out of salvaged car parts for the winners. The winner in each of the nine categories was decided by the votes of those attending the show.

            Randy Christie won the 1939 and older category with his ’32 Ford truck.

            Bob Bartch was named the 1940-49 winner for his ’49 Rover.

            Bob and Linda Knutson won the 1950s trophy for their ‘53 Ford F100 truck.

            Earl Goretzky took the award for 1960-69 with his ’69 Plymouth Road Runner.

            The trophy for the best vehicle from 1970-1989 went to Dwayne and Lorna Stankewich for their ’74 Plymouth Barracuda.

            The award for best vehicle from 1990 and newer went to Nancy Logan and her 2017 Chevrolet Camaro.

            The best truck trophy was won by Doreen Kobelka with her 1967 Mercury.

            The only double winner in the show was Jamie Yannoulis. He won the award for best motorcycle for his Huffy Bike, and the best burnout, which he performed with his 1992 Ford Mustang.
