STRATHCONA COUNTY – Alberta RCMP Major Crimes are seeking the public’s help locating a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection to a murder investigation.
Christian Nyabirungu, 35, of Edmonton, Alta. is wanted for first-degree murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault.
Nyabirungu may have since changed his appearance but he is described as having black skin, black hair, brown eyes, is 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds.
Nyabirungu has ties to Edmonton, Alta., North Battleford, Sask., Toronto, Ont., and has family in Montreal, Quebec.
He is considered armed and dangerous and shouldn’t be approached by the public.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Christian Nyabirungu is asked to call the Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741.
