SASKATOON — Westbound driving lanes remain closed while the College Drive pedestrian walkway is being repaired.

The overpass was damaged and knocked out of alignment after a truck with a crane hit the structure last Tuesday morning, Dec. 7. Temporary support towers have also been installed.

Until the walkway repairs are complete, westbound traffic between Campus Drive and Cumberland Avenue will continue to be rerouted into the eastbound lanes.

This project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Once complete, the walkway and westbound lanes will fully reopen.

Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information is available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
