            Council decided to table the proposal of Ottenbreit Sanitation Services to extend its service agreement to October 2019 and administer the Multi Material Stewardship Western (MMSW) program on behalf of the town.

            Authorization was given to Michael Mykytyshyn, the chief administrative officer, to attend the Urban Municipal Administrators Association of Saskatchewan (UMAAS) annual convention to be held June 7 to 10 in Saskatoon.

            Aaron Herriges, the leisure services director, was authorized to attend the swimming pool operators course to be held May 7 in Yorkton.

            Council set the rental rate for the town hall, single office space or council chambers, at $40 per day.

            Courtney Bourassa was appointed as secretary to the North East District Board of Revision.

            It was agreed to contribute $100 to Parkland Amateur Radio Club for 2016.

            Mykytyshyn and Courtney Bourassa, administrative assistant, were authorized to attend the Local Government Election Workshop to be held May 26 in Yorkton.

            Council awarded the fuel and oil tender to Canora Farm Service Ltd.

            Council awarded the 2016 water main replacement contract to Wyonzek Bros. Construction at its bid price of $462,520.00, pending approval of the project’s local improvement status by the Local Government Committee.
