Former Norquay family receives donation from Christmas Goodies cookbook sales

A Norquay family has received a donation from the proceeds raised from the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook.

            A Norquay family has received a donation from the proceeds raised from the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook.

The Heskin family and their two- year-old daughter, Chelsa, was brought to the attention of the radio company by the community of Norquay, said information from the radio station.

Chelsa has a rare form of epilepsy and a lot of fundraising has been done in Norquay for the family, the information said.

Donated on December 6 was $1,000 for medical needs for Chelsa, it said. The family lives in Preeceville but Chelsa's parents Kelly and Brandi are originally from Norquay.
