On Aug. 30, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP received the report of a serious single motor vehicle collision approximately 1 kilometer north of the Highway 56 on Wide Awake Road between Indian Head and Lebret.
The highway is currently blocked in both directions. Traffic is being re-routed for an undetermined amount of time. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and to follow traffic restrictions.
Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP along with RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, Fort Qu’Appelle EMS, Fort Qu’Appelle Fire Department and STARS air ambulance are on scene.
