Last week Kamsack Mayor Rod Gardner, his wife Vi and Councillor Joe Kozakewich and his wife Debbie spent time in the Gardners’ garage assembling 18 new chairs that have been purchased for the Assiniboine Valley Medical Centre. To be used in the waiting room, the chairs are so comfortable that Gardner and Kozakewich joked that people waiting for their appointments might choose to stay sitting rather than jumping up when called.
